E-tickets are pretty much the norm now and as others have mentioned, a passport (for international flights) or other piece of official I.D. (for internal flights) will often suffice. I usually haven't had to present the confirmation or itinerary number at the check-in counter but carry the print-out (which has all the info on it) with you anyway just as a precaution...each airline and airport counter is different so you never know when they may ask for it - and don't discard it until you return from your trip. In any case, if you lose it you'll usually be able to print it out again from an internet café - you couldn't do that with paper tickets. |

E-tickets are pretty much the only way to get a ticket anymore - most airlines will mail you a ticket if you pay a $25 fee (or higher), but doing that would be like throwing your money away. There's no point in having them mail you a ticket since they email it to you anyway.
I fly almost 100 times a year and have had an e-ticket every time I've flown for the past 6 or 7 years, at least. I've never had a problem using one at all. Just make sure you bring your photo ID to the airport. |

Its very easy, you print it off, show them and go! They just check the booking number, your security number on their records and then your passport, easy as pie! |

It's easy and quick to travel with e tickets. You will avoid lines (except to get carry on luggage scanned and searched). There still is no fast way through them.
Just be sure to keep them handy along with your ID and Passport, if needed.
Have a worry free trip. |

I think almost everybody uses E-tickets these days. I've been doing it for years now. Just take your ID. It's no problem at all. |

E-tickets are easier to travel with. Make sure you have your confirmation email printed out. It has your itinerary number on it. You should also bring identification with you. Its like normal traveling, just less hectic with all the paper tickets and everything. :) |

Just have a form of identification handy -- a passport if you're going overseas -- and you'll be fine.
I always use etickets when I travel. Less hassle. |

Sure, just make sure you follow the instructions. I know it seems weird printing something out, but we do it now all the time.
My website is www.travade.com You can find some great deals when booking your next flight. They are cheaper than the other major websites. |
