Flew one from Boston to London in coach..Didn't like as there was a metal box under all the seats which controlled the video. You had to move your legs to the side which kills after severak hours |

Usually airlines use their 777 aircraft on long-range routes. However I flew Singapore Airlines from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur on a 777. The flight was only 40 minutes and there were not that many passengers. Singapore Airlines only operates wide-body aircraft so the 777 happened to be the smallest aircraft they had at the time. Now they have taken delivery of the Airbus 330 which is a bit smaller than the 777. |

Yes I have flown a lot of B777s...my first experience was in Singapore Airlines to Singapore from Male..it took 4 hours and 15 minutes..the flight was very comfortable...and also i took a Singapore Airlines boeing 777-200 to Bangkok...both the flight were very good..the meal service and the inflight entertainment system was awesome...by the way I also flew a boeing 777-300 in Cathay Pacific from Colombo - Bangkok which was not a very good experience for me.. |

I used to travel a lot on business, the 777 is probably my favorite plane. That said, I have never flown the 747 or the new A380. I have flown the 777 on American Airlines from Chicago to London, Chicago to LA, Chicago to Dallas and Dallas to Miami. Believe it or not I once flew a Delta 777 from Jacksonville Florida to Atlanta. I was expecting a regional jet, when I checked in at the airport my seat assignment was something like G44. I assumed it was some kind of mistake and asked the ticket agent to double-check. |

Los Angeles to Honolulu with United.
Normally they uses a 767 on that route but the aircraft had a problem so a 777 was substituted. Took about 5 hours. Not as good inside as I expected. The 767 on the return trip 2 weeks later was the better of the two.
Normally used on longer flights where high capacity is required. Some airlines are using the on routes previously flown with the 747. Expect to find them flying trans-atlantic and trans-pacific routes plus US Coast to coast.
