Has anyone ever flown on the 4th of July at night?

I'm just curious if you can see the fireworks and stuff at 30,000 feet. My flight takes off late on the 4th and I'm just curious what to expect.
Additional Details
I'll be flying from Ft. Lauderdale Florida to Portland Oregon so I'm sure I'll be up there while the fireworks are going off. lol

Last year I was in the air flying over NYC during the 4th. It was at about 28,000 feet and I saw the fireworks. It was a spectacular sight. It depends if you're over a big city when they are setting off the fieworks. Coming from south Florida, you might be able to see them over Orlando, depending on the route.

I am not sure about the 30,000 but on landing and take off you can see them for quite sometime...and it really is a different way to see them...

Once I was flying in to Seattle after dark on July 4th and the fireworks were beautiful as we got lower and were landing.

I don't know at 30,000 feet. That's awfully high.

No but I'm sure it'd bring to mind to some, the saying:

Happiness is a cold LZ.

Thank you for asking...I have ALWAYS wondered about this!

I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT HAPPENS BUT IM PRETTY SURE THE PILOT IS TRAINED TO FLY HIGHER THEN WHAT THE FIREWORKS GO TO. THEY HAVE TO BE ABLE TO DODGE THEM. GOOD LUCK ON YUR TRIP TO WHERE EVER U R GOIN'!!!
