I went on a domestic Jetstar trip (one way) from Sydney to melbourne, and it was much more pleasent then Virgin Blue.
It was my second time flying and there was no turbulene or stomach-hurting dips of the plane- it wa s a smooth ride, and the seats were comfy. Worst thing was that it didn't land in the major airport, and it cost me 16 bucks to take a coach back into the CBD.
Virgin Blue left us stranded for about 2 hours for 'UNKNOWN' reasons at the airport, and then the pilot kept dipping the plane at weird angles and etc, so my friends got dizzy and experienced nose bleeds.
But definatley Qantas was the best flight I've ever had
Hope that helps

i hav not but any one must surely hav travelled so ask anyone

I travelled with Jetstar the just the other week for the first time. I was expecting a pretty bad flight but it wasn't as bad as I was thinking it could be. I personally found it much the same as a Virgin Blue flight. It is good though that you can prebook your seats now. It must have been terrible before they introduced that!!

Reebok
I haven't travelled with them personally, but I know people who have and they weren't pleased with the service they got.

Ignatious
I have and I must say that being 4 minutes late and having to buy another ticket stank. The service in the air was OK but I still have a bad taste in my mouth from a stupid ruling that I had to get on another flight.

aflumpire
Yeah I have but I will never fly them again!

They dont care about the passengers, only them sevles. I was sitting next to 2 people as I was in a window seat. They offerd the Video on Demand thing for $5 (only a 1 hour flight) and they never asked me, just the 2 people next to me and she purposly woke one of them up!

And there piolits need extra traning as the worlds roughest landing was performed on arrival on the Sunshine Coast.

Truly crappy flight, virgin was the same price but I wanted to try something new. Stick with virgin even if the fare is $50 more. Virgin is worth an extea $50 even though both airlines generaly have the same fares!!!!

I now call Jetstar, Shitstar!

Oh and Helenium, its not the airline that controls TURBULANCE that causes dips and weird things. Its the changing air pressure in the air!!! Nothing to do with the piolits or the plane. Your friend may have also had WAKE TURBULANCE that is turbulance caused by bigger planes like a 747 that disrupts the air drimaticly. The piolits can not comtrol Turbulance. Piolits often go at "weird angles" to get out of turbulance to HELP the passengers!!!

?
no
