Yes - I was onboard a BA plane which landed without flare (meaning all wheels hit the ground at once, completely horizontal) When normally, the back wheels touchdown first then the front wheels.
This was the scariest thing I have ever been through. I seriously thought that I was going to die.
All the passengers were scared to death.
Never again BA. |

The only bad experience Ive had is when people dont control their unruly children. They scream, run around the isles, kick the back of the chair, throw things, make a mess out of the bathroom.

i was on a flight from australia to l.a. the plane crashed and i was stuck on a very strange island, without contact to the outside world for months. eventually we got off the island, but now i need to go back! there was a lot of strange things on that island.

My cousin, who was 4 or 5, had her ears pop and didn't stop crying the whole time. The worst sound I have heard to this day. |

You`re not gonna believe me but, I was petrified of flying but my hubbys parents booked us holiday to Cyprus going in september the year after 9/11 well there was this very tanned couple of guys sitting opposite us and during the flight they were acting a bit odd , when all of a sudden my husband pokes me and says "look" they were cuting up on the tray and doing a line of coke I nearly had a heart attack, I thought oh my god that`s what happened to those planes in the US, I`ve never been so scared in my life and couldn`t get off quick enough when we landed |

Yep, turbulance so bad that my cup hit the roof, it went on for over an hour, the plane was shaking and dropping like crazy! scary! A man got up and started preying out loud and then it stopped! weird! After that I am no longer afraid to fly, its all plane sailing after that nasty experience. |

Yes the beginning of this month I took my youngling to DisneyWorld for his birthday. During the last leg of the plane trip, this guy gets up and starts yelling at the guy behind him. I thought he was going to hit him. He was ticked because he couldn't get his chair reclined farther because the guy behind him was 6 foot something. On top of that there was bad turbelence. I hadn't flown in awhile, so I was nervous.
Then on the way back, had this brat that kept kicking my chair. The parent only said something to her once. Makes me wish I could teleport to the places I need to go. |

I am scared each time i go on an aeroplane but the worst experience i have had was turbulence when taking off. Because that is the bit of the flight i hate and i dread getting any turbulence but that is the worst i have experienced! :-) |

besides the food? Not once. and i travel a lot.
Out of country at least twice a year.
id have to say the worst thing i have had happen, is my bags got sent on the wrong plane, but i got them back in two days, and the airline had to give me money for clothes. |

I fly 2, sometimes 3 times a week and I have terrible experiences at least once a week. I'm sick of airports and the inconsiderate ***clowns that occupy them. |

Yes, flying from Kathmandu to Munchen - the wings were vibrating so badly I thought they were going to drop off.
The pilot kept taking us up higher and we must have been virtually in space by the time we lost the turbulence. |

Definitely - a few years ago, there was this really creepy guy that kept looking at me throughout the flight and smiling, he was in his late 30s and I was about 14, maybe 15. A bit later I went to the onboard restroom, and when I opened the door he was standing there, and he blocked me from getting out and tried to get me to join the mile high club with him.
But, that's highly unusual. Don't let it scare you, they're safer than cars!

no. and ive been flying since i was 3 months old and now im 13 yrs old and i fly 3 times a yr and i fly long distance. from LAX to BARCELONA airport 3 times a yr. at the most, my ears have gotten plugged. ha ha.

Yes I was coming bk from gran canaria last year on a evening flight so it was dark and it had been snowing. We were quite low and close to the run way to land when the pilot suddenly pulled up sharply. Every one looked panicked and concerned. When we got higher up again and started to circle again the pilot came over the tanoy and said "Sorry about that, air traffic control had failed to notice a small plane charging down the runway towards us" Ive never been so scared in my life, especially when we made a second attempt to land |

Sometimes turbulence can be scary.
The worst I've had was when I was about 10 and the plane had to turn the whole way around and I thought the plane was so far to the right it was going to flip over!!!
Sometimes loud/strange/unfamiliar noises in the engine can also make me feel more tense. |

In June me and my Mum were on a flight and all of a sudden the captain said he would have to make an emergency landing as the computer that alerts them to engine failure had broken!
And we literally had landed in Barcelona 10 seconds later! Then had to get back on the same plane....! |

Yeah - Im normally okay with flying, but this one time, i was really ill in the morning before the flight, so i guess that didnt help. But i was surrounded by these right stinky gross people what kept shoving their armpits in my face. I was actually sick repeatedly. AND IT WAS ALL THEIR FAULT!!!! Seriously - i had to launch a can of deoderant at their head to get my point across to them!

yes, they didn't have duty free stuff on the air plane I took on vacation. the air waitress was really rude when i asked why. she said it was either fuel or duty free stuff WTF. not too mention they didn't give us enough time on the international flight to check out the duty free gift shop. on top of that, this plane was about to take off for our destination, but had to turn back to fix a guage that wasn't reading. |
