Have you ever cried after you have been presented with your inflight meal on an airline?

Not necessarily cried but had to pull out the air sickness bag when I saw and smelled it.

I haven't gotten a meal on a flight in years. Most airlines have done away with meals long ago in an effort to cut costs.

Oh, Absolutely....years ago when they actually attempted to feed you...! On my way from NC to visit friends in CA, I was served a lovely mystery meat sandwich with a side of (I think) pototato that tasted a lot like the plastic it was wrapped in..I was then served a beer (And I thought, 'at last, some comfort'!) and was given a plastic cup to pour my beer into, but the cup had a leak, and I was forced to chug a Miller Lite (ewwww! But, it was my only real choice at the time) at 30,000 feet....most of which landed in my lap via my chin....
When I got to California, my friends thought I had been partying on the plane (I smelled like a brewery) and I spent my first day with them, locked in the bathroom while my body attempted to process the "food" I had tried to eat....
A good time was had by all....
lol...

Only when I had to pay for it...

Oh, thanks for the two points!

Jaspreet S
yeah, I wondered why I was still hungry after I ate it!

ShouldBeWorking
I think the last time I got a meal on a plane was like 5 years ago, going cross country. . . .Nowadays I'll settle for crackers. And back then, I always said vegetarian meals so you would get pasta. Can't screw that up too much! LOL Don't expect much, and you won't mind I guess.

Kaori K
now way have you

dinski_99
Never and I think I won't ever.

Lol. On one international flight I had to Bangkok, They served us 'breakfast' 4 times in a row! It was soggy rice with a few strips of chicken and 'green stuff' (apparently some bamboo sticks). The other option was dried scramble eggs with a peice of dired tomato. At least I looked thin when I got to my destination :)

U must be crazy

Edward C
No. But I flew from Orange County, CA to Las
Vegas, to Chicago, to Pittsburgh with only a bag
of nuts on each leg. I was hungry when I got home.
I understand the only way to get meals on airlines
is to fly first class, or go international.

I tried to perform a harakiri on myself, but the stewardess stopped me. And guess what? It is not really considered a harakiri if you do it with a plastic spoon.
