Oh you bet. The first day I got to the UK it took everything I had to stay awake until 9:30 pm. For the next several days I was awake until 2:00 am and couldn't get up before 11. |

Due to a heart condition I have to take beta blockers, which is pretty much like being jet lagged without the worry and expense of travel. lol |

Yes. The answer is to keep moving and behave as though one had woken up in the country of arrival and gone through a normal day, i.e. to behave consistently with the time it is there. I got off a flight from Australia and went straight to work in London once: I felt like a zombie, but everyone assured me that I was doing the right thing. I have discovered two wonderful things to help: flight socks (which we should all wear, they're wonderful) and, if at all possible, a good swim at the other end. You emerge feeling great! |

Yes - last January coming back from New Zealand without doing any stopovers. We've always stopped a couple of times before and I would recommend it; to make matters worse, husband suffered a couple of small strokes shortly after arriving back home in the UK, probably due to a blood clot.
Made worse, too, by the fact that we coming from summer into winter, so from long days to long nights. |

Nope, the most time difference I have been in is 1 hour.
But I am going to California in 2 months and I am dreading the Jet Lag, which is an 11 hour flight PLUS 8 hours time difference! |
