I just saw a news item on Yahoo about expensive places, and London was #2 after Stockholm. Probably everywhere in the UK it's more expensive.

So come to the US - many Brits do. You will have a lot of weather choices, from hot and dry to wet and cold.

But there are certain cultural differences that you should be aware of. Here, accents are just markers of "where you're from" and are often a conversation opener, not like in the UK where they are a class marker. There is no Marmite. Bangers are sausages. Etc.

On the other hand, maybe you should go to one of the Commonwealth nations, like Canada, or Belize. Canada is a lovely country. Belize is like Mexico, but British.

As far as work, work, work, pub, pub, pub goes, it is the same here in the US, with less pub, much less pub. People don't go to work, go to a pub, then go home - they just go to work and go home. Maybe later they go out for a while, or wait until the weekend.

Hi! Know how you feel - lets go to Spain or somewhere nice and warm ..

Work, work, work, pub, pub, pub. Oh how I miss it. I've been in America for the last 5 years. It's not that much different to England to be honest. Except less pub activity.

Oh and people getting shot on a daily basis. Where I live 13 people have been killed in 6 days. At least in England I was more likely to get stabbed than shot.

as i can see, you bored about your country.
go to a vacation to different countries and relax little bit.
then begin to think what you really want to do and where do you want to live?
decide with healthy mind, don't decide too fast, you can be regret in the future..

Well you can't fly out, try a boat!

how old are you? if you are under 26 (maybe up to 30) you could get a working holiday visa and move to Japan to teach English. You could also get hired by one of the english language companies and get a visa through them. Summers are hot, hot, hot and winters can get cold, depending on where you go.
