No - You need to get your body back in sync with the time zone again. Go to bed at a time you would usually go to, and if you can't sleep make sure you stay in bed - read a book, or another relaxing activity. In the morning, make sure you don't get up until a reasonable time.

Probably best to try to keep to as normal hours as you can: it'll help you get back into a normal rhythm. Keep drinking tea and take paracetamol if you feel ill. |

Well, next time you're in the US, pick up some Melatonin - it's the best jet lag aid. But since you're in the UK, I would suggest you keep yourself up as late as you can - don't go to bed early, you need to try and reset your body clock as soon as possible. Today, get outside as much as you can - sunlight helps to reset your natural sleep cycle. I have a friend who swears by drinking a cup of coffee or tea every hour until bedtime, but I can't vouch for that one.
It's the pits, isn't it? I travel long distance a lot - Melatonin's been the wonder drug for me. |

Hey, It's Just Me
|
Jetlag is a phenomenon where one feels tired, fuzzy, and generally
fatigued, sometimes accompanied by dull headaches, due to a time zone
change.
To reset your clock, there are several things you can do:
o Stay up 24+ hours and go to sleep at the normal time
for your destination.
o Do not take a nap at your destination until it is the normal
time to go to sleep.
o When you wake up in the morning at your destination, go for a half hour
walk in the bright morning sunlight. (If there is no sunlight, a
bright light can substitute.)
o Do not eat right before you go to sleep. Eat a light dinner.
o Eat your meals according to the destination time zone.
o Do not drink any alcoholic or caffeine-based beverages
during your flight. Drinking other liquids is OK -- some people
recommend drinking a lot of water.
o Don't forget to adjust your watch. |

Try and stay awake to the normal time that you go to bed, but if you're really flagging then go to bed a little earlier.
The sooner you get back to your normal going to sleep time, the sooner it will wear off. |

If you can, try to work out today (exercise).
Eat meals at regular mealtimes. Avoid eating big meals.
Do not sleep during the day. Go to bed at your normal bedtime on your local time(GMT/BST).
Stay hydrated; drink plenty of water. |

The best thing you can do is gradually reduce the time.
For example you are going to sleep at 1 am, reduce it to 12 am and then keep on going..
Drink some chamomile tea, that helps. |

sleep the oppisite hours of the flight,
For example, if you flew between 2:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Thats 2 in morning to 1 in afternoon.
Sleep from 2 in afternoon till 1 in morning then go to bed at your normal time at the end of the new day.
Thats what i do |
