Highlights of a long plane journey?

Just interested in everybody's opinions -
The movies, food, chairs, cute hostesses, stuards, turbulence?
Also, the worst things

Stay happy folks

I've done many long haul flights.
Movies: I've usually seen them previously so nothing to watch.
Food: Amazingly, I have had quite good experiences.
Cute Hostesses: My wife won't let me look!
Stewards: Not interested, my wife looks at them!
Turbulence: Yes, I've had some very scary moments.
Worst things: Young children/babies making a racket
Waiting to use the toilet behind loads of other people.
Boring passenger in the next seat who wants to talk.
Trying to sleep and they keep making announcements.

My worst flight ( inside China ) was when I was aboard China Eastern: The attendants were so mean! The guy in front of me asked for apple juice and she gave him pear juice ( which he was allergic to LOL )! Then 25 min of turbulance, and we made a landing at Chonqing airport and transfered planes.

British Airways was a good experience besides the horrible dog food mush they give you claiming its Sheppard's pie or something. Good movie selection and pretty comfortable seating. I believe I was in world class or something fairly high so the service was better too. I love long flights especially when the attendants have accents. Turbulence is really fun in my opinion.

If you have a window seat the highlight of a long flight is being able to look out at the clouds and the sea and land below you, which looks truly amazing from that height!
The worst thing is when the person behind you keeps kicking your seat. This happened to me on my way back from Boston when I was trying to sleep. Very annoying!

i had a really nice curry once, though even the smell of the food usually makes me feel ill.i hate it when you feel ill cos you cant seem to relax.
last time i was on a long haul flight i threw up but it did cheer me up when the lady bout some yellow plastic bags with BIO-HAZARD: TO BE INCINERATED written on the side. I dunno why, it just seemed quite drastic. I still have one in a cupboard somewhere.

The hostesses brough the drinks trolley round TWICE.

LOL this is a great one!

For the best in flight experience, nothing beets a first class ticket on an airline that flys newer planes with entertainment systems.

Personally, I love the airbus or MD or Boeing.
The seats are wider and more leg room, food is as good as some restaurants, free drinks all around, and multiple movie choices (many not on video yet) provided in stereo on your own little adjustable monitor.

I agree with the others who say screaming children, bathroom lines, and annoying people siting next to, behind you, or in front of you are the worse things.
