if you can't afford much for a vacation, think about going to stay at your local hostel for a few days! Or if you don't have one, go to the nearest one. It's an excellent way to meet people from around the world. You can show them your city and learn much about their culture. Super cool way to meet friends. It's like experiencing foreign travel without actually traveling. Simply incredible! That's what I'm doing right now in Austin, TX.
But if I had the money, I would definitely go on a holiday which I also do a lot. I take around 5 or 6 holidays a year. I'm young (28) and I don't want to be one of those old people would travel the world and can't have all the fun that there is to experience. You need to go travel while your young and can appreciate the small things in life. The earth is a spectacular place and you need to go out and see it all! I am planning an international trip for next year or maybe the year after. I want to go to Australia, New Zealand, London, Hong Kong and maybe a few other places.
Traveling is so much fun and can be very emotional. Do it damn it! |

As much as I love being at home, getting away from a while would be nice. I mean that whole holiday mode does not kick in unless you are away from home! |

Hard one.
I like to stay home because I love to be next to my husband.
On the other hand, I like to go on vacation because once a year I get to come back to the US to visit my parents. My parents can't visit us because my mom has health problems and can't take a long flight. |

Going away. It always gives me a fresh perspective and a new appreciation for home. I like going to new places, meeting new people, see and do new things. My favorite is a winter trip to the Islands.........Paradise.:snorkelling, sunbathing, beachcombing, hiking, painting, trying new foods...it's all good. Also I love the planning of the trip and having it to look forward to. |
