Nice and cheap but no seat allocation so a mad dash free for all when you can get onto the plane. You also have to pay for your food. However, if the flight itself is so cheap, and you're not flying for too long, why the hell not?!

cuddles_gb
Think of it like a bus - and watch the terms and conditions, miss a flight and they can't help you, it's a very basic service.

I have travelled EasyJet any number of times and unlike the people you see on television I expect what I pay for, cups of coffee and snacks are a bit pricey and seats do not recline, but all in all the staff are pleasant and helpful which must be difficult when you see the people the have to deal with.It is worth mentioning that a little bit of politeness can get you a long way, only the other week we were a good ten minutes late for check in for our return flight from Berlin and while I paid the taxi my wife threw her self to the mercy of the check in staff,we were delighted when we got on the flight.

There is nothing wrong with EasyJet. It is like a bus, except they are almost always ON TIME - except if there a bloody good reason for it not to be - like weather conditions in which case it is not just the airline, it is all airlines. They have NEW aircraft, rarely goes tech - occasionally (just like a car does). Whether or not you choose to have a meal on board is entirely up to you. You pay, you get, don't pay, you don't get. It is that simple. For those saying about luggage allowance - this is standard on all charter airline - you go over the allowance, you pay. That simple. If you keep within the terms and conditions of carriage, you'll be fine. Whereas for no seat allocation - there is just no pleasing some people. If you turn up early you have a choice of seating as the boarding process is in the priority order, i.e the order in which you have checked in - this is fair. If seats were to be allocated, most people just moan if they can't get the seat they want - so EasyJet have made it simple. Furthermore, they now have Speedyboarding - you can prepay on the net to board first (or one of the first ones), so again you have a choice here. As I work at the airport with several airlines, I will give you an unbiased view. One thing I can tell you with certainty also is that they open as many desks as is physically possible. There are limited number of desks they can have, this is imposed by the airline, but even more by BAA - the airport is SHARED among other airlines, so one can't just take the whole airport over and open all the desks! Also - the queues that passengers are currently experiencing is due to BAA - or shall I say the government, who have imposed restrictions and stricter controls for accessing airside, so things take longer, but BAA have to see them through. It is a pain in the a s s, but airlines themselves are NOT responsible for this.

According to a television series theyre great if you are at the airport early (well before checkin closes), dont miss the boarding time and like to pay for food/water. I wouldnt rekommend them if youre going to change aircraft on your flight, becouse if youre miss your connection due to late arrivial eccept to pay a new ticket (at a very high price). But if you can stand these downs they probebly great. Read the rules (on their web page) before! Johan

squeezy jet.

They are a FUN airline and they represent incredible value for money. but they are NOT BA or Lufthansa so you should not expect that standard of reliability or service.

But as long as you are willing to take things as they come, they are FINE. They are a good airline.

And they are miles better than Flybe, I'll vouch for THAT.

Well it is cheap IF you book ages beforehand, otherwise it is not worth, it.

Personally I call it SQUEEZY jet as the seats are (especially of you are a bit over weight like me) small.

They are very strict on the weight and luggage size. Other than than I suppose they are ok.

EasyJet's onboard conditions are like any other Economy Class aircraft. I've flown easyJet many, many times and never had a problem. Depending on where you are flying from, the planes are either new 737's, or very new Airbus A319's. Like all budget airlines, there is no in-flight entertainment, and no free food or drink. But you can use your MP3 player or portable DVD player on the flight, and they have a good selection of food and drink for sale on the plane. Prices of food is similar to prices charged at airports.

The biggest difference between easyJet and, say, BA is at check-in. Definately get to the airport more than 2 hours before the flight to check in early. Its worth the extra effort, especially if you're flying at a peak holiday time.

dont fly with them have you seen there progamme i wouldnt fly with them or ryanair

easyjet is fine because let's face it you're only on it for a few hours.

The only slight problem with easyjet (and also ryanair) is that they never open enough check in desks (to save money on staff) and don't have an online check in like BA. This means that although you get to the airport early, you are still queuing 2 hours later to check in, then you have to queue to get through security and then to get on the plane. The plane itself is fine. I usually buy a Pret a Manger sandwich before boarding to eat on the plane and buy a gin and tonic (£5 or thereabouts), loads of legroom, nice comfy seats and nice staff.

dont do it
it may be cheap, but the security, comfort and dealays are poor
pay that little bit extra and get a better flight with more security and much better comfort.....

you will regret it if you fly easyjet.....
