Pray! Prayer is very powerful. God says in His Word...
2Tim1:7
7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
Ask the Lord to take away all fear from you.
You can also ask your pastor to pray for you.
I pray the best.
God Bless! |

Get plenty of exercise and good diet to keep yourself fit for the flight. Have a medical check up before you go to confirm your fitness. and relax, think more about your wedding. |

Think about the place you're going to.
Think there are more road accidents than plane accidents.
Think nothing. Sometimes the plane even move. You forget you're on a plane.
You can read, watch the films, listen to the music. Or try to sleep.
I've heard , many people speaking about the fear of flying and then become the MOST EXPERIENCED passengers. |

Some of the major airlines offer a weekend course, where you are shown all aspects of flying and flight. They explain all the pros and cons. At the end they even take you on a short flight. I know Virgin Atlantic and British Airways offer this, although it costs about £200. check the internet sites |

I usually try watching DVD's on an airplane to take my mind off the fact that I'm 35,000 feet in the air. Some that I would recommend are: Lost (seasons 1 &2), Passenger 57, Executive Decision, United 93, and Flight of the Phoenix |

Well first you have to tell yourself that your fear of flying is irrational. You have a 10x greater chance dying DRIVING to the airport then on your plane. 2 million commerical flights on average per year in the united states and we get about 1 crash every 3 or 4 years. not bad huh?
If that doesnt work. Try getting a perscription of something that will calm you. If you dont want to do that, a cocktail or two can do wonders.. it works for me. |

You seem to have tried everything, what is it about flying because i hate flying loads but have to do it lots, the only thing that ever helps me is sitting next to or opposite a Air steward and i alwasy think that if something was worth worrying you could tell by how they are looking. When i fly i always imagine the plane crashing so its not that i am scared of flying i am scared of the plane being in the air and not flying. But let me know if you find a cure. |
