You can't. Even student ID is useless, you need better identification than that. |

Call the airline and find out because I think ID is only for people over the age of 18 yrs

You do not need an ID if you are not traveling alone. Otherwise, an ID is imperative. Go to the DMV and apply for a State ID, which only take 20 minutes from camera, to hand. |

My sister and I traveled with our little bro in 2003 when he was only 12 to my mom's wedding in Arizona, and so shortly after 9/11 I was surprised to find out he needed no ID whatsoever to fly. No one even asked if that was our little brother, if he was with us or if we were transporting a minor across state lines. So unless FAA rules have changed (and they're always doing that) I suppose you're in the clear. |

People under 18 are not required to have I.D., but it is wise to have it. It would be a very good idea to go to the DMV and get a state I.D. card...and to replace your student I.D. as soon as possible too. |

is your passport still valid? You can probably use that.
If you are flying by yourself, then you need to see an ID. They are not going to let some random person they dont know go past security without seeing a ID. Minors need some kind of ID when they are traveling by themselves |

the security forces sure do have americans paranoid....I have seen 12 year olds on here freaking out because they dont have ID.
dont worry, they dont ask for it. Your parents may have to prove that you are their son....all they need to have is something with your name on it - but they dont check for this everytime...nothing to be concerned about. |
