Interesting, isn't it! Air travel is a product, just like any other. Some products cost a lot and others very little. The "product" of the 06:45 London Heathrow to Amsterdam is in very short supply and therefore expensive. The flight to Goa isn't and is therefore cheap. (er). Bear in mind that from an airline point of view, the cheapest place to keep an aeroplane is in the air. The most expensive place is on the ground. The simple laws, then, of supply and demand apply. Provincial airports are also expensive and Newcastle is a low demand and I am afraid to say "provincial". Why? Beacuse you cannot guarantee a steady flow of people for an all day, everyday service. A flight to Goa (and this will be a charter) is a one off, run only when they know they can fill the seats.

Did she goa of her own accord? aarf aarf

Checked prices on the net and found the special deal. The charter airlines have these deals to help fill the seats on a flight if they think the bookings are low so as not to have empty seats.

The answer is Chartered flights offering a package holiday to Goa, at times you can buy a ticket for 99 pounds, so 300 is a reasonable cost. The downside is you have to fit your time according to their dates. Not available whne you want to go, but to gain somethinf you have to lose/sacrifice soemthing.

Many of the flights to Goa are charter flights and this is how you sometimes get some very cheap late deals.
