There's a prescription medication called Transderm Scop, which is a patch worn behind the ear, that helps with motion sickness. Antihistamines are also commonly prescribed for motion sickness. There are also some over-the-counter meds that you can try such as Dramamine.
Ginger root is supposed to work just as well as prescription meds, but without the side-effects. If it is served on the plane, order some ginger ale.
May want to avoid reading on the plane if it has a tendency to make you ill while moving. Would just bring along a headset to help you tune out and ease some of your worry.
Have a good trip! |

Take some gravol before you go. About a half hour to an hour ahead of time so your body digests it. |

you should be fine, unlike a train or bus, you cant tell you're moving most of the time when you are at altitude. it's a smooth ride (maybe a little turbulence now and then)
i did 12hrs from HK to london a few weeks ago and read/watched movies and was fine, and i get woosy in cars sometimes :-)
you can get over the counter travel sickness pills to be safe if you like :-) |

Buy fresh ginger, grater 1-teaspoon to a cup of hot water and make ginger tea. Have cup before you depart and if you can carry an extra cup for drinking during the flight.
Nowadays, you can buy ginger tea bags so you can easily have during the flight as ginger is good for nausea. You could test drive it now by using it on car trips or trains trips to see how much is needed to reduce your symptoms.
Some health food stores also sell ginger candy and dried ginger pieces that you can eat so it's a question of what you prefer and how tolerable you will be to ginger as it can be strong and pungent. |

cover your ears bro, and that will stop the clicking in your ears (which is a source of the feeling of sickness). do this at least until the plane is lifted off or until the plane is at what you feel is a inclining . |

Slow down its ok try sitting by a window seat in view of the wings because many people will say that helps with sickness also you can take gravol or something other kind of medicine that helps with motion sickness as for your reading problem try to bring a portable dvd player or laptop to watch a movie or play a game on to pass the time good luck |
