There is a special unit that steams the towels..... They are expensive and not something you would buy.... If you want to make basically the same thing get a towel wet and put in the microwave for a min! |

Fist off, there ARE NO MICROWAVE OVENS ON AN AIRPLANE.
It's against FAA regulations.
They use hot water, heated electrically in a coffee maker or normal electric oven. |

Here at the hospital, we have a convection warmer that heats our blankets and towels for our patients. It makes them warm, but not wet...our patients loooove them and it's so comforting! |

Basically they have very hot water,they dip the towel in it then put it in that temperature plastic which keeps it hot but before all this i think they put a little soap or something into it |
