Either a travel agent or the airline ticket office at the airport is the best way. Be careful if you have a friend buy a ticket for you and pay them the cash, many airlines require that the credit card holder is the passenger or one of the passengers and that the card must be presented when you check in. You can also try making a reservation by phone or at least check on seat availability and paying at the airport when you arrive. If you pay by cash at the airport, expect extra scrutiny at the security checkpoint.

Go to the ticket counter. You can buy the ticket in advance that way also. Some airlines will let you reserve a ticket online as long as you pay for it within the next 24 hours.

Just go to the travel agency and tell them you want to buy a ticket and tell them your destination and all your information!
You have to have cash ready in your hand!
And the person will tell you how much you have to pay and you simply hand in the money!
This is sooo weird for me, coz i don't have a credit card and I don't want to have one! it's simply a headache and I prefer to have CASH all the time with me!
Goodluck and i hope you get to visit your friend soon! ^__^

I didn't know you could still pay in cash to be honest.
Airlines take a fee for you using your card.

You have to go to the airport and pay for it yourself at the ticket counter.

you take your cash to the airport, walk up to the lady/guy selling tickets, give them the cash, then they give you the ticket!
glad i could help! :]
Dan
Go to a travel agent. They all charge a fee, so ask what it is up front.

Debit card would be a better option, but you can try to pay for a ticket either through a travel agency or at the counter. However, it could be rather expensive.
