How early should I get to the airport tomorrow?

Well, traffic on the road usually sucks the day before Thanksgiving so take that into account when leaving for the airport. You should probably arrive about 2 and a half hours before your flight leaves.

LOL, while I like the first persons post, 2 hours SHOULD be enough time, but if you want to be super safe, give yourself 2.5 hrs. Better to be safe than sorry!! :)

That definitely depends on the airport. Go to any airline home page (I use http://www.southwest.com/travel_center/suggested_arrival.html ) and there should be a list of the cities with the suggested amount of time before flight in which you should arrive for each airport.

Depends...are you flying business class? If you are flying business/first, then 2 hours. If economy, 2 1/2 hours or more.

It all depends on the airport you are flying out of. Will the city have much traffic just getting to the AP?

I would advise to arrive at least 3 hours before the flight departs. You are traveling on one of the busiest days of the year. Good luck!

Best bank on 3 hours ahead of time. You never know when something unexpected may happen, such as finding your airline, parking situations, traffic catastrophes or perhaps personal problems such as loose bowels due to nervousness! Make sure you check your airline site and it's extremely important to pack correctly according to airline rules. Get yourself checked in as early as possible, get through security and then you can basically relax, get something to eat, and grab a coffee. You will feel much more at ease once you're past all of that hullaballoo.

No. Unless you suspect it could take a long time to get through security. Just make sure you check in online as soon as possible so that you don't lose your seat. If the flight is overbooked, they can bump you if you are the last to check in.

Yes, at least three...the airport will be extremely busy. Be sure you have all your stuff ready, take a book, check-in and read.

Maybe be there early but some places wont let you actually check in until its only about 2 hrs until your flight leaves. It is going to be crazy but im sure if you show up 2 - 2 1/2 hrs earily it will be enough time. Good luck and have a happy thanksgiving!
