I do about 10,000 miles a year at least once... not including short or domestic flights.. if you consider I have been doing that for the last 19 years and I will live until (hopefully) I am at least 70 thats 610,000 thousand miles at least... thats 25 times around the world - pretty cool!

singt96
since 911 happened air port security is so tight you can't even get on a plane with mouthwash without being questioned

Well, there are still operating airlines and they even made new jobs, like TSA... I still fly regularly, I just keep my eyes open... Good luck.

It is safer than driving...

oh i dont know an average, but if its of any comfort to you, I was afraid of flying afdter 911 to, but its not that bd. just keep an eye out just incase when you do fly. however i will say that depending on where you live your airport might have failed their security test(i read about it on aol news)

I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND THAT YOU WOULD NOT WANT TO FLY. I ONLY FLY ABOUT TWICE A YEAR FOR VACATION AND SPORTS. WHY DONT YOU CONSIDER DRIVING OR GOING SOMEWHERE CLOSER WHERE YOU CAN DRIVE

jagna
not sure but the average is like 60% of people live like 100+ miles from where they were born..... :O
