I think it's sort of pointless, a knee-jerk reaction.
I thought the whole point of investigating terrorists and arresting them before they do anything was so they way we live doesn't have to change? Potential terrrorists will always come up with something new - next time it'll be a plot to blow up a plane with a rubber eraser and some tinfoil. The whole point behind the way they work is that it's unexpected. What are we going to do? Show up at the airports wearing only a towel holding a ticket and an id card, nothing else?
I'm all for security - but it seems to me that it would have been much smarter investing some of that tax money we send them in up-to-date equipment that can detect liquid explosives rather than telling people to they have to throw out their shampoo.

Safer, that we dont have to worry about being blown up soon but unsafe that these terrorists keep on coming up with plans that could possibly get past security.
The no liquid rule is no big deal you can check your bags with liquids and pick it p at baggage claim. you just cant bring it on the plane I did it the day of the threat eventhough my plane got delayed till 3 in the morning.
Buisnessmen who dont like to chek bags are now forced to check or buy new ones but it is not like small shampoo and toothpaste cost that much.

I don't really care.. Cuz i don't wanna die on a blown up plane. Beside you can get it on board.

boilerman426
I don't feel any safer.

No issue. Just pack into ythe check-in and still enjoy the flight. Not that the airline will stop serving you liquid right?

Much better than being suspicious of my fellow passenger not knowing if it is water or bomb that is in the hands.

Annoyed that these terrorists have affected our way of life.

Gloria i agree with you 100%. Besides travelling is so expensive and at teh same time you are forced to full your stomachs before you get on that plane because no food allowed, if not you just have to purchase crappy plane food.
