When we went we departed London Gatwick at 11:45 and arrived in Toronto at 14:45. With a 5 hour time difference that is 8 hours.

jeff_tan1988
If u fly by air canada it will take about 7.54 hrs by B767. It depart at 9.05 pm and arrive at 11.59 pm.

because you are in favour with the wind it takes about 8.30h to arrive there. it's less time than when you are coming from toronto with the winds against you.

Had a look at the London Heathrow flight timetables and it takes between 7 and a half hours to eight hours, depending on when you fly, see the link below.

Try checking the british airways website. You could have probably found about ten times over by now if you hadnt wasted time asking this question.

Try http://www.iBtraveling.com

There, you can find a bunch of airlines and travel sites. Click on one of them and make believe you're going to purchase a ticket from heathrow to toronto and then you'll find the answer to the time it will take.
