5-6 hours direct. But, the time goes forward from NYC to England. So, if you leave at 6pm, you get there the next day time wise!

On a jet liner between 6 and 8 hours. Riding a magic Pegasus only about 3 and a half.

Flight:
London (LON) to New York, NY (NYC)
Flight Duration 7 hours 25 mins

Distance:
The distance between London, England and New York, New York is 3470 miles (5585 km).

NY to London
It takes about seven (7) hours to fly from New York to London.

Here are some recent scheduled times:

JFK airport in NY to STN (Stansted) airport in England: 7hrs 30min

JFK airport in NY to LHR (Heathrow) airport in England: 6hrs 40min
It is about 30-40 minutes longer London to New York as you are flying into
the prevailing wind.

American Airlines and British Airways operate direct flights from New York Kennedy to Heathrow, London making the flight 6-7 hours long

Hope that helps!!

Depending on the jet stream, 5 to 6 hours. unless you are going in a hot air balloon, then I don't know.

dont know, but you need to report that SPAM answer in to Yahoo!

go to usairways.com or any airline that flies there.... pick out your tickets, but obviously don't buy them.... the itinerary will tell you an estimate travel time.

7 - 8 hours, but, with the time zone change, it works out that leaving at 8 pm has you arrive at 8 am.

Direct flights take around 6 hours 50 mins usually. May get to 7' 30" depends on the airline. Try United.com and select a few sample flights from the airport of your choice. Keep in mind that huge airports tend to have huge immigration queues. If you fly into Heathrow, chances are the line will be longer than if you fly into one of the regional airports around London (Stansted, Luton, Gatwick). Research where you are thinking of staying, then choose the airport with the best public transport links for your chosen location (don't even think of driving into the City, congestion is a real problem here). E.g a tube ride from Heathrow takes about 45 minutes into the city centre, which is about the same as a train ride from Stansted or Gatwick. Luton may take a little longer but the cost may be offset be the reduced landing fees etc. However, if you want to stay near Windsor Castle, you need to fly to Heathrow. If you want to stay near Westminster/ Harrods all airports are equally far away. If you want to stay near Wimbledon or Tower Bridge, Gatwick is your best bet. If football is your game and you want to stay near Arsenal, use Stansted.
