Your body is still on India's time. You have to be sure to ignore the signals your body sends you. You'll feel like sleeping in the afternoon because it's night in India. Try to do something active and don't sleep until it's time in London. Also, sleep 7-8 hrs. and then get up whether you were asleep the whole time or not. Try to spend as much time during the day outside as you can, as the sunlight will help your body's clock reset.

best thing to do is to reset you body clock.

don't sleep no matter how tired you are, till the time you usually go to sleep.

If you cant sleep get up and do something for an hour and try again. If you cant get to sleep after your 4 attempt stay up and go a day without sleep.

And get up at your usual time (no sleep in as it will make the jet lag last longer.) Light is your best friend in beating jet lag, by getting up early in the morning, your body sets itself to light levels.

it really depends on how many time zones you pass through and how you handle it on arrival home. It can last up to a week but if you try and get back into the time rhythm of home and forget the rhythm of India, you should settle quicker. It is quite normal to feel it still after 3 days. It will go soon.

My boyfriend recently got back from India and it took him 5 days to get back to normal. But it all depends how healthy you are and how well you take care of yourself once you get back

Takes me up to a week when I come back from the US/Canada.

That's why I don't go so much these days.

As long as a hang over because it varies for all people.
