I flew to Singapore last year on Emirates and it took 13 hours with a one hour stop in Dubai. The nice thing about Emirates is the leg room, fantastic, I could hardly believe that all this seating and leg room space was mine.

If you plan on flying via India .. it would be approx 9 hours London to Mumbai and thereafter approx 5 hours from Mumbai to Singapore..

A nonstop on Qantas is 13 hours!!!! Just go to their website and type in a dummy reservation. (LHR - SIN)
I guess some people either don't know where Singapore is or don't understand time zones.

Its 13 hours there and normally 14.5 hours back due the stronger wind current from west to east. This is direct and non stop.
