I think that would depend on how many passengers are on the plane and how big the plane is...
Might need a calculator if it's a 747, in order to count all the buttons, I would start at the rear of the plane however and work forward...or hand out a questionaire when the passengers board the plane...

Variews hugely, depending on the type - Cessna - very few, 747, quite a lot more.
And for buttons, I take it you mean buttons / switches / controls - as relatively few "button operated controls" - Push to talk on microphone etc |
