UK security rules state one piece of hand luggage. That is ONE item only and not a small suitcase and a handbag or a laptop. The exact weight and size depends on the individual airline policy. Its usually a maximum of 6 - 8 kgs. |

one piece of hand luggage the weight is of no consequence to the airport but each airlins stipulates its own maximum weight allowed, take for instance ryanair 10 kilos easyjet dont have a limit you can carry as much as you can reasonably carry and put into the overhead lockers without any assistance so plenty of scope there
no restrictions on money at all the currency restiction of £50 was abolished around 1958 in theory you can take as much as you like.
electrical items are allowed and no restictions are in force re any electrical goods in hand baggage. the only restriction is that you may not use them on the aircraft unless the captain as turned off the seat belt sign. so you see you fly a lot but you have not got a clue |

Normally you can take one piece of hand luggage abbord a flight, weighing no maore than 8kg, but you must check the size of the luggage with the airline. They have slightly different rules and regulations. You must remember that the luggage you take as hand luggage must not contain large volumes of liquids, creams, money (over £10,000), electrical equipment or anything sharp. |
