How much to fly to MEL, Australia?

How much would you think it would cost to fly 3 adults to MEL, Australia from LHR in First Class?

The cheapest I can get is just under £20,000-- with BA and Qantas-- anyone think of anywhere I could get it marginally cheaper?

Expedia.

We went with Expedia and we paid under 17k for First Class. That was with BA.

Elie
I think Qantas would be the cheapest for international visitors to Australia :)

Might want to try Expedia.com or Travelocity.com or Orbitz.com. I think these only show prices in USD, but I'm not positive, and they generally have the same prices for tickets. Sometimes they're cheaper, but good luck. =)

We paid £12,500 with British Airways, but that was in Business Class. There was three of us.

Just one-way? Would you consider business class? I'll check back to see if you added details, then complete my answer for you.

Where is LHR? (excuse my ignorance lol)

If you can, try flying with another company than qantas. They have a very good reputation but they are by far the most expensive airline in Australia (to fly domestic, i know this first hand).

I hope I have been helpful.

That is a lot of money, wow. I would say keep looking, well if you want first class why are you worried about the price. Go coach and save a lot.
