Yes take the whole thing. DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL. I had a medical emergency on my flight last week because some stupid lady drank half a bottle of vodka with Ambien and Xanax. Bring a nice big book with you. A sleeping eye mask is good too, and if you bring your own small blanket, I bet you will be asleep quick! |

Change your perspective. I love to fly. Try to see how it could be fun. Enjoy the G force on take off the noise the engines make the smell of the Jet fuel. The lights on the run way and all of the high tech stuff around you. If you concentrate on everything bad, you will certainly be in trouble. Instead, try to think about all the cool things about flying. |

I am not too tense in flights. Hence i think I can suggest a solution to you poor thing. If you are travelling alone, take with you, whatever is the most favourite, like your favourite book or CD or a DVD. Best thing is to catch up with some good sleep. Please void pills. Make sure you have not slept for long b4 boading.
Ensure stewardess does not disturb you. Change from books to CD to music to cross words ofcourse around a good long sleep..There it is u have landed..Take care |

xanax does help but you will have cotton mouth later. i recommend a good long book and some good music. close your eyes during take off and landing. after you fly a few times it gets a lot easier. |

Take a good book along with you. Maybe even some crossword puzzles or something to keep your mind occupied. |

My wife finally just went to the Dr. and asked to be prescribed something for when she flies. She takes valium right before the flight and is fine. If you don't agree with that approach, you can always do some meditative things like imagine the whole flight, before and after as well, going perfectly and just nicely going over the whole scenario in your mind. When you get to the airport, just let it all happen the way it did in your mind. This is what I do before I go give blood or get a shot because I have a needle phobia. |
