How to get to the Airport?

So next month I am flying home for Christmas. We live about 5 miles from the airport. (In lawton, ok) and i am struggling on finding away to get us there so we don't have to pay $100 for parking the car for 3 weeks. I have a 13 month old, so taking a taxi is not really an option unless i haul around her car seat everywhere. Our flight is at 5:30am so a bus is out of the question too..and everyone i have asked is not able to do it that early in the morning. Please give me any suggestions!!

my nephew and neices ( they were both one) just sat on our knees because 5 miles isnt very far tbh

but sometimes taxis do have car seats for babys!

I would go with the taxi option...

Drive your wife and child to the airport and drop them off. Take your car back to the house, and then you can take a taxi. No carseat, and you can take all the luggage with you in the taxi so your wife doesn't have to deal with it and the baby. A little inconvenient, but may work. you can do the same thing in reverse on the way back. You take a taxi and the luggage home and come back in the car to pick up your wife and child.

Taxi.

Though when my wife and I went on holiday for 3 months we had my wife's parents drop us off. That was handy.

You need to remember that HOW you get to the airport is most likely HOW you are going to get back home upon your return. SO look ahead on how yo will get back home... As for your present dilemma, you would think that a neighbor OR a coworker or friend could be bribed for a small amount. Suck in your pride and ask someone who you trust who would other NOt and I think you will be surprised in who says YES!
That is the easist and cheapest route, But in case you don't succeed with that, then next I would look into public RTD or buses that have direct routes to airport. You will park you car in a public parking lot and free and pay a small one way pass to the airport. Check the schedules for times.
Next I would go with the suggested offer of staying in a hotel the night before that has airport shuttle service. This way you get there for free and early in the morn and when you figure in the price of a taxi or daily parking fees, the hotel price really becomes reasonable. Think of peace of mind and making your flight on time!!
Best of luck and get there safe!!

Check with a cab company if they can take your child - most will know how to solve the problem

You could go the night before and stay at an airport hotel. They're fairly inexpensive, only around $75-100 a night.
