I'm 25. Is it too old to become a fly attendant?

No, you are not too old at all. When I was in training at AA, we had candidates as young as 20 and candidates as old as 60 (no joke). 25 is a good stable age to start the job. The industry is struggling, but if you research the companies that you are wanting to apply to and make sure they are a good fit for you, you can be successful. If you are looking to possibly stay close to your home after training, or one day transfer back, the one airline I would suggest for you is Continental. One of their major hubs is Newark, and its a major international hub. The airlines will base you where they have a need so you aren't guaranteed your base of choice. But don't let that sway you, you can always commute! Good luck to you :)

There's no such thing as being too old especially at 25. Employers can be sued if they tell you you can't because you're too old.

Of course you could easily be a fly attendant. If it's what you want to do, but yourself forwards towards it with 100% of yourself. You're definitely not to old to be a flight attendant, you're only 25.

There is always demand for flight attendants but its competitive, you normally need prior customer relations experience. From what I know about my own country recruiters don't like applicants who have gaps in their employment history, from what Ive heard that is. Start off with a budget airline (four year contract) then a more expensive airline if you want to make more money. You need to be a good swimmer and fit. Good Luck.

I don't think its too late at all. With those language skills and a college degee, you shouldn't have too much of a problem getting any type of job.

My wife is 48, and a CSA (Customer Service Agent) for an airline. They actually invited her to become an FA a couple years ago. She declined because she's not that crazy about the hours.

No you are not too old!!! But the airline industry is dying!!! They are always cutting jobs to save money. Use you knowledge for something else until the air industry picks up again.

no you are probably perfect age. Some one I know in my town is 24 or 25 and just became one. You do have to do training through the airline i think.

Your not two old .But you have to remember when you have a child most girls give it up as it just is not possible to raise a kid at home when you are half way around the world .Your a good age.I started my training at 17 with the Airline and went online as cabin crew a day after my 18 birthday .Im in my 20s now and a lot of my friends started young as well.I just got really lucky in my interviews

Send your CV to Air Russia - they'd take you like that. But you wouldn't get paid much.

But Joking aside 25 is the perfect age to decide what you want to do and do it.
Don't let 10 or 20 years pass and regret it.

I'm sure they're looking for stuardesses at Virgin, British airways and pretty much any comany that flies people back and forward to Russia.

No, that's the perfect age, however you will need to do some training for emergency landing's and how to treat passengers in an emergency etc.
Good luck, and pick an airline that you would trust, and that would look after you, maybe American Airlines, something like that.
