Check with BA, that your flight is still going from Terminal 5, as it was on the news, yesterday, BA, is talking about postponing its transfer of long haul flights to terminal 5. so it might still be going from one of the other terminals |

I've just come back from Hong Kong, we flew with Virgin from terminal 3 and had no problems at all. Hong Kong is cheap for shopping so only pack what you can afford to lose and buy everything else while you are in HK. Good luck in T5. |

I work as a claim agent is claim office at Prague Airport. I have heard something like there are 12 000 suitcases at terminal 5 at Heathrow Airport which havnt been loaded to aicrafts. And they send some of them to Italy to send them to right destinations beause thousands of suitcases are way too much!
But i think I would not be afraid to arrive to terminal 5 with checked suitcase in Hong Kong...
