lucky u r going to Israel! i was born there anyway that happend to me before and trust me take ur ipod/mp3, book,if u draw some paper and pencil, write a story, make a card, there area lot of things u can do and these r the only ones i can think of right now.......i hope u enjoy ur trip to Israel bcuz i knkow how anazing it is there and u will have a lot of fun! |

The other legitimate answers are correct and you should take with you some things to do. There are electrical outlets scattered around in departure areas, so it is practical to use portable game/music devices and still be able to charge them before boarding the international flight. Also take one or more books that you have started and know are good.
You don't say which airport you will be at, but almost all airports have a website that lists restaurants, cafes, shops, and things to do. Some airports even have a museum.
If you are an adult or are traveling with adults, consider getting a one-day pass to the airline's airport lounge. Lounges are a comfortable place to wait, usually have TV & Internet, and drinks & snacks are included in the pass. Examples are American Airline's Admiral's Club, Delta's Crown Room, and United's Red Carpet Club. |

you can't avoid not to sleep because you'll really get BORED in your flight... while your asleep, time moves faster
try bringing a book/magazine/music player/dvd player/psp...etc.
or whatever that keeps you going... |

watch a movie with a portable dvd player or on your ipod. bring a laptop if you have one or a portable gaming system...bring it all. soduku is entertaing and so are some good books! |

Im going to Orlando soon but im going to be in the airport for only 3 hrs and 30 mins.If i was you i would bring a really good puzzle book.DONT try to get into a book you've been wanting to read because you wont be able to get into it.Also i would shop in the airports shops.If that doesn't take up enough time find somewhere quiet and try to get some sleep.Enjoy your holiday. |

Go to the nearest bar and have a drink....or four.
Take pictures.

im going on vacation too so ill have a wait myself.Read Magazines,Grab Something from the food court,listen to your cd player or your ipod(not sure which you have).Also i like doing word search because they really make you think and books of them have a bunch to do. |

haha do a few tricks on ppl like just walk around to random ppl get real close and stare at them til the notice you then really subtle say "don't get on the plane" and walk away. They will freak!!! lol I think it might be illegal though. |
