I live in the Philippines,bring lots of shorts and shirts.It's really hot over here. There's lots of nice places to go to, tourist attractions, clubs and beaches.
If you want to visit Philippines' best beach, you should go to BORACAY.
IF you want to go clubbing and see lots of pretty ladies and drink go to Makati City or Malate area. There's lots of bars over there.

It is tropical. It is volcanic in origin. Hot and humid. Lots of palms and under brush. Five minutes after you shower you have a film of sweat again. Pay attention the disinfection of your drinking water/beverages. Many will be friendly, with your money in mind. Try their seven course chinese meals. Their good. Prostitution is common. Try and get a good dependable guide. He will be worth his wages.

Looks like any cities on earth in the city and countryside as you would have seen in the Filipino movies.

It really depends on the place ur going to.. Some are nice and some are not.... But the beaches are awesome, go see Boracay, Palawan, Bohol for some tropical paradise haven.... But in metro, the hot places are in The Fort, were alot of tourist go there to mingle w/ different people, & in Eastwood & Makati... You can also see alot of malls in the Philippines, in case ur want to shop.. There you go, Ciao!

i just came back 15 hrs by plane lots of pollution smog its a poor city lots of markets hot ,ocean is warm are u going JAL lines? best part is a Philippines bath. good luck

Boracay is definitely on the top list of beaches for foreigners. Its perfect for its white sand and clear blue waters. Another destination that is not so commercialized is Bohol, famous for chocolate hills and beautiful beaches. I hope you enjoy your stay there. Bring lots of sunblocks.

If you're in Manila, go to Makati for a more upscale surrounding. Most of the top corporations are located there. Plus more shopping malls and restaurants. Try Filipino food and you'll definitely love it.. there's more to the Philippines than what you expect.
