i think it will be better you take up a tour to india and neighbouring countries like nepal and srilanka.india has a lot of nature in it like shimla,kulu,manali,and the wonder of world taj mahal,and the great himalayan trecking,and in the west you can see jaipur the capital of heritage india and also view historical harappa and mohenjadaro,deserts of thar,beaches of goa which are hot favourite for europeon nationals,and in the south the great tradition of india and its temples and also the rich diversification of western ghats and the gods own country of karala.

My suggestion for u is Kerala, India. You may get cheap hotel and other accomodation fares and low rate of rail,road and air travels. You can see Taj Mahal also. there are numerous places to bee seen, so many different cultures but depends on your preferences. mostly people would love to go to places where they find something different from what they have. i would suggest you three places which u shall find so much different from people and places in the US.

1. somewhere in brazil to see the awe-inspiring amazon rain forests, u can, if u r adventurous, dare urself to venture little deeper into the forets with guides to see the aboriginal tribes that are centuries away from our present day culture.

2. south east asia, u can have easy access to places like thailand, singapore, malayasia and hong kong and India . expirience the rich hospitality of asia and a blend of all the cultures in each nation with some disticntness. ancient architectures of india, the music, the 5000 year old system of medicine and yoga, so many things that can leave indelible mark on your mind. the chinese influence in the other countries can reflect mystic influences of martial arts, buddhism and the like.

3. russia, u can have easy access to kazakhstan, uzbekistan, mongolia. the culture of the slavic people mixed with azerbeijani , mongol and barbarian influences can be amazing. it's in europe still u will discover things that are so different.

Take a cruise. Because that way you get to see a bunch of countries and once you are on ship all of the food and entertainment is included.

WE did a MEditerranian cruise lst October and that was great. We visted France, Monaco, Italy (3 stops), Greece (3 stops) and turkey. All of the areas we visited were safe adn we had a great time. WE daparted out of Barcelona, Spain and we got to see Madrid as well.

Then this year we went to the Baltic states, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Estonia, Russia, and Germany. The cruise departed from Dover, Engalnd, so we got to see London also.

So all of those places are safe and make for a good tour. And if you don't want to tour at a stop, just stay on the ship and relax.

Go cruise.

They have the most beautiful beaches, the people are truly charming and helpful, the all-included resorts are truly remarkable, and there are great deals on airfare and hotel.

Don't be afraid to go abroad. We just came back from 3 yrs expat assignment (WITH KIDS) and it was the most wonderful, exciting adventure for our family. NO - it is not more dangerous everywhere else, necessarily, you just have to be sensible. We LOVED Istanbul, but you need to be careful. I would recommend Northern Italy (Tuscany) and also cities like Salzburg, Prague, Budapest. Forget Paris and London - you've seen it all in the movies - HAVE FUN!!!!!

come to Romania!!!! We have mountains, the Black Sea, the people are hospitable and the capital Bucharest is nice. Also, 1 dollar is about 35.000 lei (our national currency)
