I'm pregnant..can I board the plane early with the other people who have children or special needs, etc? |
Don't ask me why I want to do this. Just answer if you can. Thanks. Additional Details Oh, I know I can fly. I'm not that far along. But some airlines will even let you fly if you're 7 days from your due date. (This I would not want to do..and luckily I don't have to.) I just want to get my lazy tired *** on the plane. It's a 15 hour flight!! And that's only half the journey. |

If you are nearly at term, I guess people wouldn't mind. Most pregnant women who have "special needs" shouldn't be flying in the first place. |

They probably will. However, every airline sets its own policy regarding who can board early or if they even allow early boarding for anyone. There is no requirement that they allow it.
There is no blanket policy that covers every airline. You need to call your airline and ask them if you really want to be sure. |

most airlines might not yet you fly (depending how far you are)
or you have to have a doctors note saying its okay for you to fly
they just really dont want you to give birth in flight! |

Depending on how far along you are, all you have to do is check with the gate agent and let them know you would like to board early so you can sit down. They'll be glad to accommodate you and probably wouldn't even ask how far along you are.
Everybody likes to pamper moms-to-be!
Congratulations!

I would imagine it depends on the airline and where you are flying to and from, also how many months you are. |

Most airlines have done away with preboarding altogether. It's now only for unaccompanied minors and handicapped.
I believe that's a rumour about the free flights, although it has been done.

Ask and see if they'll be nice. Be in the front and be ready to go.
Good luck! |
