I wouldnt call it scared, but i don't like it. Its very cramped, and i'm a bigger guy, so unless i really can't wait, i won't use them. I have once or twice, and while it wasn't awful, i wouldn't call it pleasant. |

You can buy them things for toilets...you put them over the toilet seats..very hygenic that way and at least you dont have to hold it in.
You can get them off ebay. |

I don't blame you. But if the flight is longer than a few hours, you could be setting yourself up for embarrassment. Why not invest in Depends? |

Uh.. I don't think holding your urine is very good for your bladder. I'm scared of the toilets as well. I don't like the noise it makes when i flush the toilet. But, its just easier if you were to go and relieve yourself rather than having to hold it in. |

They are crammed and extremely uncomfortable. Because of the limited space they are not too sanitary. Guess the airlines try darn hard to squeeze a couple of extra seats onto their planes. This is why the toilets are tiny.
I can understand that some people are scared of the suction and vacuum that can be created when someone flushes. |

Why do you do this? There is nothing to fear!
You really shouldn't hold in your urine, it's bad for your kidneys.
Plus moving around the cabin is good to prevent Deep Vein Thrombosis. DVT is when blood clots form in the leg (usually the calf) do to a combination of immobility and relative dehydration. These blood clots can move and be deadly if not treated.
Try your best to keep hydrated and move about the cabin on your next flight and try your best to overcome your fear of airplane toilets.
Hope that helps!

Why... coz you might lose balance and get stuck in the hole? |

You ever watched an episode of mythbusters? They showed scientific evidence that the chance of getting your hind end caught in the toilet is so remote that it would practically never happen. Rise above your fear! Take a leak or a poop while in the air. You're actually not supposed to go while landing, so you're going to have to do it mid flight. |
