Are you flying by yourself or with others. If you are flying with parents then they will guide you through this. Be sure to get to the airport early, call ahead and see how much time they suggest. They have stricter laws about what you can and can not pack in your carry on luggage. I know you cant bring water bottles purchased outside the security check you can buy water after at a inflated price but still can have it. When you arrive at the airport you will either get in line to pick up your tickets if they are e tickets. Sometimes you can have them mailed to you. I am not sure what is your case. After that you have your bags check in so you would go to the airlines where you are flying out of and stand in line to have your bags checked. They will staple baggage claim checks or stubs on your ticket for when you get to your destination you will be able to get your bags. After you check your bags you have to wait in line for security check. They will send your carry on bags through the scanner also I would suggest you wear easy on and off shoes since you have to put your shoes through the scanner too. They will ask you to empty pockets out and what ever you do...do not bring any type of nail files or clipper or any kind of scissors. Also no pocket knives or anything like that or they will take them. After that you will be ready to find the gate where you are leaving from. Once there you will have to check in at the desk to get seat assignment. Sometimes this is done for you already but you still need to check in there so they know you are there and ready to board. Pretty much after that you wait for them to announce what rows will be boarding first then you hand your ticket to the person at the door of the entrance to the hall that leads to the plane and get on the plane...Good Luck and enjoy your trip where ever you are going.

Without knowing how young you are and how long the trip will take, it's pretty hard to give you any detailed info. The only thing I can suggest is kick back and relax. Check and see if they have any munchies and try reading some mags. Also see what kind of movies they have on board for you to watch.

dont worry.iam a fan of airplanes.i have been on so many airplanes and i am not that old only 13.i love them sooo much they r so cool.ok during take off make sure u are chewing gum.when u get on just stat eating it(other wise when u get airborn your ears are gonna hurt like mad.especially during landing.i hate landings!the plane goes lower and lower and your ear starts hurting!)the best parts are the movies.u can watch as many movies as u want!the food is good,it depends what airline u r taken.dont tense up.the best of the best is taking off.the plane lines up on the runway.the pilot says crew ready for take off.and there is all the fun beggins.the plane stops and .............wait till u get on the plane.Bye have a great and safe trip!!!

I've been on tons of airplanes, and im not that old either ;) just 14. im not exactly sure what you mean tho. if you're younger than me, the flight attendents will pretty much do everything for you. first you have to check in your luggage. this can be the hardest part (because of long lines) this is always the worst. after you do this, you go thru security. this is usually a breeze, unless there are a bunch of people. Then you can pretty much chill until the flight. Grab a burrito or something. When you hear the announcer call ur flight number on the speaker, you can start boarding the plane. then just sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride (which includes complementary beverages and snacks!!) anyway, i hope this helped!! have a fantabulous time!! ;)

1. don't forget your passport or ticket
2. don't take anything that could be considered a weapon
3. Just try your absolute hardest not to think about how something so big an heavy can stay in the sky.

Take off will probs be qute scary, but you just have to trust the pilot.

Try to enjoy yourself

Will it be scary...yes. Once you board, you'll be filled with anxiety. After the plane takes down the runway, you'll feel like your on a fast roller coaster with out the dips and curves. Once your beginning to reach altitude, you will feel weird but ok. I suggest you take some gum like dubble bubble. Something flavorful thats thick and hard to chew because your ears will pop after the plane takes off and again before it lands. This can sometimes be an extremely painful feeling. However, this will be the worse part experience. Good Luck on your trip! You'll never want to spend 12 hrs in a car driving anywhere again!
