get a group of people to sing Kum Baya, or Amazing Grace. Hold hands, light candles. Even make a little book club while on the plane! Ask a few people around if they would like to join! Or, you can bring thin rubber bands and fling them to people while they are asleep, or not looking! Or hog the restroom for a long time. Just say you have diareah, or your puking.
Annoy the person sitting next to you!
Smack really loud when you eat on the plane!!! Exspecialy when its quiet.
Hum a song lound.
Or, act really scared, and say "THE PLANE IS GONNA CRASH!!! I KNOW IT!! ITS GONNA CRASH!!" and get other people scared with you..

get a great book ON TAPE and put it on an ipod - then you can read AND stare out the window at the gorgeous view or rest/close your eyes

after travelling non stop to Australia, 4 hours seems like a breeze, but i would still recommend drinking lots water to keep hydrated, a good book in case the in flight entertainment isn't what you fancy, crossword puzzle, ipod, check list of what you want to do or see on your arrival, or just relax and sleep. Get up and have a wee walk around if you become bored, but i think you will find it will pass quite quickly |
