I am traveling from DC to Dallas, can someone give me 3 online services I can use to price airline tickets?
i'd say check
www.expedia.com
www.travelocity.com
www.priceline.com
If Dallas has Southwest Airlines, then you can fly into Baltimore-Washington International. It's about 20 or so miles north of D.C. but if you were going to rent a car, it's an option. Make sure you check all three airports (BWI, DCA, and IAD).

American Airlines and United fly non-stop from IAD-DFW.
American Airlines and Air Tran fly non-stop from BWI-DFW
American Airlines and US Air fly non-stop from DCA-DFW
Southwest flies non-stop from BWI-DAL (Dallas Love Field)
You can try Orbitz.com, its owned by the airlines. Then compare directly with the airlines. You can get better schedules and the same or comparable prices directly with the airlines. Go directly to Southwest's website to check their prices, they do not participate with discount websites.
Booking non-stop when you can is always best. Saving $50-100 for a connection is really not worth it. There can be delay's along the way and it is always worth it to book non-stop when you can.
BE careful using travel websites. READ ALL OF THE FARE RULES before purchase. Sites like Priceline, Cheap Tickets, Hotwire, Lowestfare.com etc buy tickets in bulk and they are the most restricted fares locking you into the purchase. You have more flexibility using the airlines website itself. Travel websites also have additional booking fee's so watch for those as well.
Well you can always go to the website of the airline that you're planning to use. As a way of keeping them honest you can always use any of the follwing sites:
