On United, you can. I fly with United about every other month and I have carried McDonald's, Burger King as well as my own food.
I have also carried sodas on the plane, but they were purchased after security. This rule seems to vary between airports. When I flew out of San Francisco to Tokyo, I couldn't carry a soda onboard, but from Dulles to Frankfurt I could. |

Those French are pretty particular... they might not let the food in if it's not "properly prepared" :)
Seriously, though... it shouldn't be a problem. On US Domestic flights its no problem at all. Still, to be safe, check with the airline. I know that some countries do not allow you to bring in "perishables" such as fruit... |

Yes you can bring any food on the plane. You can't bring food into most countries so you'll just have to throw away anything that you don't eat on the plane before you get to Paris. |

It depends on the screener you have at the airport. If you can get it through security and fit it in a small purse or briefcase you can usually carry it on. |

Yes, you can bring a sandwich from home on board your flight. I bring snacks with me all the time. |

Shouldn't be a probelm so long as what you are bringing does not include liquids (soups, etc). So if you made a sandwich of some sorts and had it wrapped up in your carry-on you should have no problem bring it onto the plane for either domestic or international flights. I would not recommend bringing it into another country upon arrival as it may cause problems depending on what you have on it. Besides, I can't imagine wanting to eat a sandwich that had been sitting for hours un-refrigerated.
You may also want to bring some pre-packaged snacks which would be non-perishable (granola bars, cookies, chips etc). These you should be able to bring into Paris without incident so long as they are still unopened. |

Well they might let you, especially if it might save them serving you a dry child size biscuit with 1 sliver of meat. Or what about the Parmesan chicken that is the size of a quarter. So ya try it. Stick it under your arm pit to keep it warm. |
