But why is the rum always gone?

If CSI is to be believed, the local law enforcement at the landing point investigates and makes any pronouncements about cause of death.

if a passenger dies, and can be declared dead by a qualified M.D on board the aircraft, they are taken to a place on the plane away from other passengers and the flight continues to it's final destination, where the dead passenger is then taken care of. if a crew member dies, then the plane lands at the first safe airport.

The air plane must land at the closest air port that can support the size of the plane.

the pilots would have to land the plane ammediatly

A friend of mine was bringing his mother for heart surgery, she died enroute. They covered her with a blanket and he stayed in the seat next to her for the rest of the trip.

First the pilot should get landing permit to land with dead body. After landing the police will do as per the law.

Oh my GOD... just hope it doesn't happen on YOUR flight or you can be on that plane for hours before they release the passengers.... It generates TONS of paperwork.!

Wendy
Don't make a big deal out of it unless you want wide spread panic. It happens all the time. Just notify a flight attendant. They will move you to another seat if possibe. Most of the time they cover the person like they are sleeping so none of the other passengers will know.

ok, im a bit confussed...someone answered its not biggie, it happens all the time and they just cover the person with a blanket, then i was told by my nurse friends that when someone dies, they release everything in them, as in they crap and piss everywhere...if the latter is true, i dont think a blanket is going to work on covering up that stench! im gonna notice someone crapping all over the seat and stinking up the plane...so i dont know, id assume they'd land the plan, otherwise, gag!
