I am Pinoy (Filippino) and I live in Massachusetts (Capital is Boston). I flew to the Philippines and the total trip time was 23-24 hours. Ughh!!! They cannot make a nonstop trip from the USA to the Philippines that is 22 hours. The aircraft will be dangerously low on fuel. Here were my trip details:
One the way there..
Boston-Chicago: 2 Hours, 15 Minutes
Chicago-Kansai, 16 Hours, 21 Minutes
Kansai-Manila: 4 Hours 54 Minutes
The Way Back...
Manila to Japan: 5 Hours, 22 minutes
Japan to Boston: 18 Hours |

it may be true, it depends actually on from manila to (blank)
because i fly once a month to chicago ,, i take Asiana Airlines (korean airline) so it's manila to seoul ,korea =4hours then seoul to chicago is 12hours.. so the total of 18 hours..
no for 22 hours that can be manila to it depends..

Non-stop... nope.
The longest flight in the world is from Singapore to Newark, NJ (18 hrs, 30 minutes). Manila is not as far as Singapore.
Maybe that person had to change planes somewhere (for Northwest Airlines it is Tokyo) where they had to wait 4-5 hours. |

Depends where exactly in America. Philippine Airlines operate nonstop flights to Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Vancouver which are scheduled to take between 12h, 15m (Vancouver) and 13h, 5m (LAX). http://www.philippineairlines.com/ |

Depends where you fly from and how many places you stop at - I just searched flights from New York JFK to Manila and it states 31 hours and 35 minutes on the way there, and 24 hours and 25 minutes on the way back!
(Stopping in Tokyo on the way there, and Hong Kong on the way back!) |
