I have Flight Phobia When I take off i start to feel really weird what do i do?

If its really severe , get a prescription. Doctors give out more medicine for flying then just about anything else. They wont give you anything to heavy, just enough to mildy relax you.

Otherwise, simply get into a book and try to relax.

its normal, many people feel this way. you can make yourself relax, since its only on takeoff? just relax, flying is fun : )

You can do what the others are telling you to do about getting a prescription for some Valium, you can have a few drinks before boarding the plane in the cocktail lounge of the airport, or you can just simply get on board and relax. I usually chew a few pieces of gum during take off because my ears have a tendency to keep popping until we reach the altitude that the plane will be flying at for a while, once it levels out my ears are fine.

Try to fall asleep before the plane takes off. hopefully when it does you will still be asleep and by the time you wake up you'll either be in the air, or at your destination.

go to your doc and have him prescribe you valum. works for me everytime

Before you leave, go to a doctor and ask for a prescription for like 4 Valiums. Take one about 30 min. before you are supposed to fly and you will be totally calm and ready.

Otherwise, just close your eyes and think about something else. Takeoff is over with pretty quickly and once you're in the air, flying is pretty easy.

If it makes your ears pop then try sucking asleep though if you feel weird try sucking a sweet or maybe try falling asleep before the plane takes off if you can't try getting something like a book or something that will take your mind of the journey or maybe try travel sweets or tablets they may help and if they don't the bit you hate will be over before you know it anyway just don't worry or you'll make matters worse.
