My daughter takes Dramamine for motion sickness. She said it kinda makes you more relaxed. I'm always a little nervous flying too. I just think if it's my time to go no one can save me. If it's not my time to go no one can take me. Good luck Honey I'm sure you'll be just fine.

you can try sleeping, or pulling the window shades down..once your in the air it should be smooth, so there is nothing to be afraid of.

I hate flying too, because I am afraid of heights, but I do a lot of traveling. First, I never get a window seat. Second, they have noise cancelling headphones that work great. You won't be able to hear a thing. I try to go on flights sleepy, that way I can sleep the entire flight. If you are not tired, you might want to try a benadryl (only 1 though). It will help with the ears popping, and should make you drowsy enough to take a nap, but not too drowsy that it will knock you out for the entire day. Try not to stress too much about it and have a good time. If you have time, and if you are not too far away, you should check out New York. It is a great city.

Rum and coke really helps me on planes! Also try putting together a collage of your favorite songs and listen to them all the way there. Luckily time goes fast when you're on a plane.

Bring your ipd, and a portable DVD player.

Once you're at cruising altitude, then you will just feel as if you are riding in a car.. Just with more people.

You can read some interesting magazine/book , listen to music, or just close your eyes and meditate (this is the great way). Happy Journey.

Get really drunk at an airport bar and continue to knock em back when they start in flight service. Passout and everything is fine and dandy.
