Absolutely agree with Servette. Title is irrelevant as it is not listed on your passport, so it should make no difference at all. As long as your name is correct, that is the important thing. |

Surely you did NOT give your friend's name as either "Mrs" or Miss".
These are not names but "Titles".
If you have, in fact, provided the correct name, but made an error in the title, it is no big deal, as the identity of the person will not be in doubt. Did you get the initials right? |

i work at an airport in the uk, believe me when i say it is a big deal, the Name on the ticket MUST match the name on the passport EXACTLY! word for word, including the title. Unfortunately i've seen many people just try not to mention it and then have big problems, many of which are refused to fly on that flight and have to re-schedule the flight correcting the details at the same time! trust me pay the 75 pound, it'll be cheaper then re-scheduling the flight and changing details on the day and you could run the risk of not being able to fly. |

Passport does not show the tittle of Mrs. Ms or Mr. anyway, so what is the big deal on an airline ticket???? |

No. Miss vs. Mrs makes no diff as long as sex & name is correct.
It is not like the airport authorities care if you are married or not! |

That won't make a difference as long as your first and last name are correct |

of course not, there is nothing to do with Mr. Miss, Mrs, Sir, Lord, about the name is important the first name and the last name, but for sure match with the passport, that is it.
There is not mayor error if you put Mr. Mary Doe or Mrs. Mary Doe or Mss. Mary Doe. u passport dont start with the word Mr. or Mss. or Mrs. only your name and last name. |

Just leave it alone. Don't make a big issue about it. I am sure it happens all the time. |

if you arent staring at their passport, you will get something wrong, most places are understanding about small errors, but it depends who you are, where you are going and what bad wind hit the ticket agent |

You should have it changed. If you used a travel agent they can call their sales support desk and ask to have it corrected. Assuming you caught the mistake within 24 hours it should be an easy fix.
Agencies have 24 hours to void a ticket and start over. |

Take a bomb with you. While they are fussing over the name they won't notice you're a terrorist. |
