I have the biggest phobia of flying? |
i have the biggest phobia of flying, i cant stand it, im so scared about crashing and i just don't feel safe on a plane. it's not that im scared of hights, i love hights i just cant take flying. please give me some advice, some things to think about or anything that will help overcome this. but please don't tell me anything that will make me even more scared!

I am not a big fan of flying either but if you want to experience anything outside of the region you live in you have to buck up and get on the plane.Whenever I am feeling anxious on a plane I just think about the people who are working,the stewards and the pilots fly everyday without incident so there is really nothing to worry about,also sit by the window and look out,its pretty amazing that your even up there and looking out will help pass the time |

Yeah I hear you. You're in a flying coffin. (oops sorry, not helping) I fly periodically when I have no choice. If you want to get from point A to point B, and time is not on your side, you have to fly. Get drunk, or take sleeping pills, and go to sleep. If you're lucky you'll wake up right before landing. Otherwise just stay awake, white knuckle it, and pray all the way. I believe my prayers keep the plane in the air. LOL! |

It's very normal to be sacred of flying - loads of people are. Just think - you're more likely to die from a heart attack, or in a car crash, than you are from a plane crash. |
