The airline you choose to work for will probably be much of the deciding factor for where you want to go(stick to regional and /or mexican airlines(do you speak spanish?..thats also something foreign airlines look for)..but I agree that with FAs, it still depends on your seniority(how long you've worked there for the most part- basically) because the ones that have worked there longer get to pick their schedules/where thery go first..goodluck to you though..ciao! |

You can try to get a job with domestic airlines. If you go with a larger airline you can always try to get this route. BUT keep in mind, being a flight attendant is just like any other job. When you are the new kid, ya gotta pay your dues. Which means you might have to compromise the first few years before getting the schedule/route you want. |

You can stay A flight attendant that stays in America but if you get a promotion you will have to reject because most promotions are on night flights or Ocean Flights! |

As stated earlier, you may not be able to hold the US-Mexico flights when you first start, and it may take years for you to get them on a regular basis. Plus, many of those flights might be turnarounds, where you land long enough to unload/reload, and then return home. If all you're seeing is an airport, it doesn't matter where you fly.
You need to be a US citizen to work for a US airline, and a Mexican citizen to work for a Mexican airline. |
