I have traveled to Europe and Australia alone, though, I am a male. However, I stay in the Hostels and have meet a lot of single female travelers. I have to say the U.K. (England, Scotland, Wales), and Australia are best for single females, Canada is similar but the dumb-*** Americans (Yes I am from the US) ruin it.

The hotels, hostels, backpackers, Internet cafes, etc are all set up for single travel. I would go to Australia first first if I was you until you learn the ropes of what to take, etc. Then try Europe.

If you like to party then go to Ibiza Spain it is great, but if you are into culture then go to Paris France.

Australia is a great place to come...

there is little real violent crime here and it is very tourist friendly...

in particular...Far North Queensland...like Cairns, Port Douglas and The Daintree...

also, if you are American, your money is worth a little more here..

good luck and feel free to email me if you want more information...

Hi, for a lone female, I will say New Zealand. Nice place and scenic, lovely people who will help strangers.

Another place will be Thailand. Language may be a problem butthe locals will always help too.

Or come down to Singapore, and use this as your base to the regions in Southeast Asia.

Lake Tahoe is the best!

Have you visited the "my pants" area of Oregon State?

The mountains of North Carolina. We call it Gods country, the most beautiful place on earth. I have lived in the foothills of the Great Smokey Mountains for 36 of my 62 years and still haven't seen everything there is to see there, and I travel there often.

If you ever go there be sure to visit Cherokee, NC and do some gambling, among many other things. The Cherokee are my people and are among the friendliest folks in the world.

NOT ARUBA!!!!

try Sabah in Malaysia... If you haven't heard of this place, look it up, cos its definitely worth it... from mountain climbing, to white water rafting, deep sea diving, jungle trekking etc etc... to just relaxing in the beautiful sandy beaches.. I'm recommending it cos I bumped into an australian gal who was also holidaying alone there, and she loved it...

cheers
