try signing up for frequent flyer miles and you'll recieve emails about good deals on select flights. so if you're schedule is open then this would be ideal! otherwise orbitz, priceline and all those lovely sites should be fine. |

Sign up for Spirit airline's newsletter. I always get e-mails about great deals from them, especially out of Detriot. The last e-mail I got was $1-100 one way from Detriot to a bunch of different cities on select days. Good luck! |

I would recommend try book through southwest,
Expedia ,Travelocity or Hotwire you can sign up to all of these sites and receive information to your specific destination you are looking for.Basically they will send you and alert from your home town to the destination you choose when savings come up. That way you can compare pricing and choose the best deal. I was helping a friend find flights for Nov to Florida and its good to really shop around it can save you quite a bit of money. She thought I got her awesome rates. I also had a long distance relationship for a while and expedia,Southwest and travelocity gave us the best deals. Good luck hopes this helps. |

Try Ding. It's a program you download to your computer. Just go to http://www.southwest.com
Right at the top, like in the centerish, is the button to download it. |

You have to book early! Whichever website you use, booking early always saves you the money. One other trick is to toggle the flexibility option and view their best fares per a day earlier or later because sometimes it makes a lot of difference! Always has with me! Remember to be consistent in the airline to get their frequent flyer miles and get ne of these flights for free sometime! |

Hello:
Check out http://www.grab2travel.com
Go to Flights section.
Also try to do SmartSearch, which will give you recommendation and click on individual buttons to perform search to compare rates. I like that place |

You have some excellent answers but normally if you log into the airline'ss website you might see savings and get some frequent airline miles.
Let's take me, for an example: I am in Tijuana. So everytime I leave the city I constantly check with an airline to see how much it cost for two people to travel. Me and my wife that is. |

Cheap tickets is good if you know a little in advance.
Lastminute.com isnt bad if it is last minute (hence the name). You can also check with a specific airline about flying standby. I did this for years and it worked out really well for me. Standby tickets are significantly cheaper and as long as you don't try and fly on high times (ie: Thanksgiving) you're fine. Good luck! |

A flight attendant in NYC told me to go on airline sights, Expedia,Travelocity,Etc. around 2am if you can leave same day because that's when they dump unpaid reservations |

go on cheaptickts or orbitz.com and book the flight about a month ahead...the farther ahead you book it the less it costs...exept around holidays because the air lines know people will pay what ever the cost to get where they need to be for the holidays! |

Go sit in an airport.
Anything can happen.
If an airline has seats available at departure time they may let them go real cheap just to fill them to make another almighty buck.
Sometimes somebody want a courier to take something for them and they will pay you the price of an airline ticket or more to take their package. |

Priceline.com! You quote your price, airport or hotel if you want a hotel, I am not sure if you can choose a carrier. But the problem here is you cannot choose the departure time of your flight. They will only show your flight details once you already paid for the tickets. Its really up to 50% off!
Check out travelocity.com so you can have an idea how much to quote. |

You should get good travel times, do to previous booking and destination anytime travel and flight schedules and flight seating, then fair pricing or they sey they it you off. |

I find Hotwire to be a good choice, if you aren't particluar about which airline company you are flying with. Next I would recommend Expedia, Orbitz, Priceline, Travelocity, etc. You can get a lot of good deals. I prefer Hotwire myself, as they specialize in last minute deals. Good luck! |

Sometimes booking directly with America West or United online will provide you with the best fare and you have more choices about departure and arrival based on price, length of flight, etc. I have saved $$ this way and I travel a lot for work. |

priceline.com
Ding from southwest.com
farechase.yahoo.com
expedia.com
travelocity.com
orbitz.com
kayak.com
